USCS Outlaw Sprint Cars and Mini Sprints headline ź mile Nationals at Albany Motor Speedway this Friday and Saturday

Atlanta, GA - September 10, 2012 - The United Sprint Car Series presented by Goodyear and Filter Charged by K&N Filters "Outlaw Thunder" Tour for winged sprint cars invades Albany Motor Speedway as headliners of the 1st Annual "USCS Albany ź mile Nationals" on Friday and Saturday September 14th and 15th. Joining the world's most powerful race cars as co-headliners at the ź mile red clay oval for two big nights of speed will be the www.rockauto.com USCS 600 Sprint Car Series winged mini-sprint drivers.

Watermelon Capital Speedway Announcement 9/11/12

Due to consistent rain that set in Saturday night September 8^th at Watermelon Capital Speedway in Cordele, track officials were forced to cancel the evenings events just after 8pm. Officials announce that the next event will be on Saturday September 22 which will feature Go Karts, Legends, Mini Stock, Enduro and Vintage Cars that consist of cars from the 1950s through the 1980s.

The gates for September 22 will open at 5pm with practice at 6:15pm and racing will begin at 7:30pm. Grandstand admission for adults will be $15 with children ages 6-11 $5 and kids under five FREE. Infield admission for drivers and adults will be $25 and kids under 12 not racing $10. All tickets and armbands from September 9^th will be honored.

Video: Albany Motor Speedway Labor Day Weekend

Saturday At Atlanta Motor Speedway

Ricky Stenhouse, Jr. wins the NRA American Warrior 300.

Saturday was packed with action at the Atlanta Motor Speedway.  The Nationwide and Sprint Cup Series both had practice and The Nationwide Series also had to qualify.  Later in the evening, the NRA American Warrior 300 was held.  All in all, it was a good day and I took lots of photos I would like to share.  Here is a photo story from that event.

Last year was my first opportunity to cover the Labor Day weekend activities at Atlanta Motor Speedway. It was a blast and I encourage all that will to come on up to check out the NRA American Warrior 300 and the Advocare 500.
