LAKE
CITY, Fla. (May 10) – Stories and smiles filled the pit area and stands last
Saturday at North Florida Speedway.
Those
stories and smiles have been part of the 50 year history of the track. This Saturday
owners Phil and Liz Guadagno are inviting everyone to make memories of their
own and for absolutely free.
The
annual Fan Appreciation night means FREE GRANDSTAND admission to along with great racing
action in Florida Outlaw EMod Series, Open Wheeled Modifieds, Thunder Stocks
and Box Stocks.
Back to
the memories.
Local
racers and crews have made NFS a huge part of their lives over the years.
Thunder
Stock driver Justin Wilson is in his second season of racing, but has been
around the track for 10 years.
“I love
to come out here and enjoy the atmosphere,” Wilson said. “It’s fun going up
through the stands. I’ll walk through and they talk to you and try to give you
pointers.”
Brad Fiene, Jr. sported a Wilson Racing t-shirt
and grinned thinking about his experiences at NFS
