The Mississippi Street Stock Series rolled into Columbus, MS to Johnny Stokes, Magnolia Motor Speedway for the annual Clash at the Mag. Once again we would run in conjunction with the Lucas Oil Super Late Model Series. 27 MSSS Street stocks would sign in to battle the “Black Ice” on Friday, but a late afternoon Thunderstorm would wash out Fridays race activities. Saturday would see all classes running in a very fast paced 1 day show. MSSS wou..ld qualify thru a 5 lap hotlap Session.

3 MSSS Heats would follow. Heat winners were Spencer Hughes, Ronald Dunn
And Lee Ray. Johnny Stokes would make the call to send all 27 cars to the $1,000 to win main event so no B Mains were needed. The track was definitely ‘Black Ice’ after the 60 super late model event. As 27 MSSS Street Stocks would roll out in front of a sizable crowd, Hughes and Dunn would lead them to the green flag. Hughes led several laps before Dunn was able to work by the young gun and Dunn never looked back taking his first ever MSSS win driving the Dunn Motorsports,/McLeroy Motorsports High Roller Race Cars #17 to the Rockauto.com Victory Lane. Hughes would hold on for second followed by 3. Lee Ray, 4. Jay Burchfield, 5. Johnny Stokes, 6. Michael Blade, 7. Dwayne Estes, 8. John Smart, 9. Scooter Ware, 10.Terry Taylor, 11.Heath Pritchett, 12.Shane Hawkins, 13.Jamie Sudduth, 14.Steve Hadley, 15.Ben Keith, 16.Bill Sudduth, 17. Chase Pennington, 18. Brodey Elfring, 19. Billy Pate, 20.
