Saturday night, Needmore will have some double feature action. Two weeks ago all divisions, but the Superstreets, rained out and are going to run there features this week at the 3/8's mile oval. Starting at 5pm, the makeup features will run until all four are finished. Then, when the action is done, the night starts over with another full night of racing. If you love racing I don't know where else you can get that much action in one night. Plus, if you have your armband from last race you get half off your (GRANDSTAND ONLY) pass.
Last week Bum Nelson brought his Old School Car out to play and get some heads to turn, The younger fans got to see what Dan Broome had been taking about and the talk is there may be ten to twelve by the beginning of next year. Making some rounds to the shops this week, look for some Late Models and Limiteds that are regulars at Waycross to be in action this week. Josh Southerland has been working on a new engine and may have it ready for this weekend. Skip Pannell will be in the blue five of Ben Summerlin's with son Jeffrey in the black five, who is on the pole for the first Limited feature. The Hobby division has a some new comers coming in this week and we might get some invaders from south of the border. .
The gates will open at 3pm according to the Needmore website, so with this 80 degree weather we have had this week it should be great for grilling and watching racing. Let's keep Keith and Jennifer in our prayers and come support some of the best racing action in the south.
