JEFFERSON, GA (June 22, 2012)- The Commerce Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram 29th-Annual World Crown 300 and fireworks at Gresham Motorsports Park is less than two weeks away! With GMP’s largest race of the year being moved to July 3rd and 4th, this is guaranteed to be the hottest race of the season!
Tuesday, July 3rd, race fans can watch Trucks, Outlaw Late Models and Super Late Models inspection and practice for the Commerce Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram World Crown 300 from 1pm-9pm. To watch from trackside parking is FREE for everyone (only on July 3rd) and pit passes are $35.
GMP will celebrate the Fourth of July with some of the biggest names in racing, including, David Ragan, Max Gresham, Chase Elliott, Ryan Blaney, Stephen Nasse, Kenzie Ruston, Donnie Wilson, Cale Gale, Mike Garvey, Augie Grill, Paul Kelley and many more! GMP race fans are sure to get a show when these drivers go head to head to win the Crane Cams Pole Award and 3 segments of 300 laps for $20,000. “I am glad the Crown got moved to the Fourth of July,” said Unadilla, GA’s, David Ragan, driver of the No. 34 Sprint Cup Ford. “ This is a prestigious race and it worked out great for our schedule. I have been racing the Super Late Models this past year and I am glad to get the opportunity to run some of the bigger short track races in Georgia.”
In addition to the Super Late Models, Outlaw Late Models and Truck divisions will compete after the opening ceremonies.
Not only will there be a great night of racing, but there will also be a HUGE fireworks show after the feature events provided by Commerce Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram and GMP. The fireworks are FREE for those who purchased admission to the Commerce Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram World Crown 300 and $5 for those parking only to watch the fireworks.
Kipper Tool will hold their final raffle of the season on July 4th at the Commerce Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram World Crown 300. Tickets for the raffle are $5 for one and $20 for five. Proceeds from the raffle go to the Fisher House Foundation and Homes for Our Troops. To celebrate Independence Day, Kipper Tool is honoring active and retired military and their families by offering them FREE admission to the race on July 4th (while supplies last). A military ID must be presented at the gates on the day of the race.

You can get a $5 discount when you buy your tickets in advance. Adults are $25 and Seniors are $20 when you purchase in advance. On the day of the race, Adults are $30 and Seniors are $25. Kids 12 and under, Active Military, Veterans and their families are FREE.
The grandstand and trackside gates will open at 12pm and the opening ceremonies will be at 5:25pm.
