Dublin, Georgia – The second-season ULTIMATE Super Late Model Series is poised to make their debut at yet another new venue for the series. Saturday night, June 16th the ULTIMATE Super Late Models will take to the banked 3/8ths of a mile red Georgia clay surface for a 40-lap / $4000 to win event. The series is excited about going to another new venue. “We are all very pumped up about going down to 441 Speedway. We believe that we are putting out what is some of the best racing anywhere in the country right now. Our whole staff believes in our product and we all work very hard to make sure that our fans and our tracks are getting the most for their money while giving the drivers quality tracks to race on with good paying purses. We have a great thing going and I am so proud to bring it to new areas and make new fans for our drivers and our series. The staff at 441 has been a real pleasure to work with and we are looking forward to getting down on Friday.” said ULTIMATE Series Director Kelley Carlton.

Toccoa, Georgia’s Casey Roberts leads the ULTIMATE Series point standings coming into the event.  Rural Retreat, Virginia’s Daniel Baggerly and Enoree, South Carolina young gun Zack Mitchell however are hot on his trail. Sitting 4th in the point standings is Savannah, Georgia’s Casey Barrow. Barrow, a series regular, is excited to be back racing close to his South Georgia home this week. “After traveling to all these Tennessee tracks it will sure nice to get back on some Georgia red clay this week. We have raced at Dublin quite a few times and it’s a nice track. It’s one I think we will have a little advantage at over most of the other guys because most of them have never raced there before. So we are ready to get over there and see what we can do.” Barrow commented.

To add to the excitement and drama of going to a new venue, ULTIMATE Series owner Stan Lester announced at the series’ last event at Volunteer Speedway that there would be a $500 bonus for any driver that can outrun Vic Hill for the win. The “bounty” on Hill begins at the 441 Speedway event bringing the potential winner’s share of the nearly $20,000 purse to $4500. Hill has hit a mid-season hot streak and picked up the last 3 ULTIMATE Series wins in dominating fashion. “Vic has had an awesome run and we are glad for him. But we want to offer someone some extra incentive to come and try to outrun him. So we are going to throw a little bounty money out there to make it a little more enticing for other drivers.” Lester said.

The 441 Speedway event will be the 10th stop on the 2012 ULTIMATE Super Late Model Series Tour. Through the first 6 events of the season the series had 5 different winners with only Gray Court, South Carolina’s Chris Madden having more than one win. However over the last 3 events Hill, of Mosheim, Tennessee has found his groove leading ALL 140 laps of green flag feature event racing. Along with leading all the laps Hill has also claimed the VP Race Fuels Pole Award in all 3 events. Hill also established a new track record at Wythe Raceway in Rural Retreat, Virginia and flirted with the track record at Volunteer on Saturday. However Roberts, Baggerly, Mitchell and Barrow will be looking to take Hill down a notch while all 4 drivers will also be vying for their first ULTIMATE win of the season. You can learn more about the event by visiting 441 Speedway’s website at www.441speedway.com or you can call (912) 690-2599.
