Cartersville, GA - Spencer Hughes edges ever closer to the "perfect" 700 point total after picking up another win on Saturday Night at Whynot Motorsports Park in Meridian, MS. Hughes bested a field of 34 NeSmith Street Stocks during the Mississippi Street Stock Series event that served as a prelude to the Southern Street Stock Nationals.

Headlines from Week 18:

•Jason Price sets third in points, and looks to continue racking up wins after he visited victory lane at Albany Motor Speedway on Saturday night.

•Rob Slott was the winner in his brand new car at Battleground Speedway in Highlands, TX.

•Larry Faulk picked up the checkered flag at Flomaton Speedway in Flomaton, AL.

•Frank Wilson, longtime NeSmith Late Model competitor, has taken a liking to his new NeSmith Street Stock car as he was the winner at Southern Raceway in Milton, FL on Saturday night.

•Brian Wooten found himself in victory lane at Golden Isles Speedway, where he has been a threat all year. Golden Isles is also home to the NeSmith Street Stock World Championship paying $10,000 to win coming in October 2016.

•Neil Brown parked his X machine in victory lane at Jerry Russell's Camden Speedway in Camden, TN. A good tune up for Brown going into this weekend's $1,000 to win Street Stock special at Camden.

•Derick Schrecengost was East Alabama Motor Speedway's winner on Saturday night.

•Anthony Gordon was victorious in competition at Cotton Bowl Speedway in Paige, TX.

•Trevor Woodard notched another W at his home track Thunderhill Raceway Park in Summertown, TN. Thunderhill continues to build their car counts, and Woodard could be driver to watch as he starts getting 50 point wins.

•Richard Jenkins was the winner at LA 36 Speedway in Lacombe, LA.

•Shane Hawkins mastered the gumbo at Greenville Speedway to pick up the win there on Saturday night.
