Mike Palasini Jr in MSSS
22 street stocks signed in to do battle at Greenville Speedway and it seemed like the skeeters were gonna take the win but we fought them off on the gumbo. After group qualifying, Corinth, MS driver Ronald Dunn would set fast time and take home $200 from Bonds Towing and Greenville Speedway.
3 MSSS heats would follow with Dunn taking heat 1, followed by Shane Hawkins and Dwayne Estes.
Heat 2 would see Jeff Butler in the B&B Raci...ng #2 taking the win with Johnny Stokes and Spencer Hughes in tow.
Mike Palasini, Jr would win Heat 3 in the Bonds Towing #8 followed by Mike Palasini and Casey Hobson.
3 MSSS heats would follow with Dunn taking heat 1, followed by Shane Hawkins and Dwayne Estes.
Heat 2 would see Jeff Butler in the B&B Raci...ng #2 taking the win with Johnny Stokes and Spencer Hughes in tow.
Mike Palasini, Jr would win Heat 3 in the Bonds Towing #8 followed by Mike Palasini and Casey Hobson.
Jeff Butler would lose a fuel pump and not make the call and Ronald Dunn and Shane Hawkins would lead the field to the green flag for the 25 lap main event. Hawkins would lead several laps before the field closed in on him. Dunn would hit the wall in turn 2 ending his night. Palasini, Jr would work his way to the lead and take the win by almost a half track but the battle for the last 10 laps was for 2nd-5th and Hawkins, Estes, Stokes and Hughes all battled side by side and bunker to bumper.. Coming off turn 4 to the checkers as he said in the interview,"I just closed my eyes and held the pedal to the floor!" Johnny Stokes would make a last lap pass to take 2nd followed by Estes in 3rd.
