Cartersville, GA - Chevrolet Performance Super Late Model Series Officials have announced that at the Chevrolet Performance 100 Presented by Sunoco Race Fuels at Rome Speedway in Rome, GA on Sunday September 4th, a competition fuel stop will take place. The competition fuel stop will take place between laps 50 and 60 of the 100 (green flag) lap event. Competitors will be allowed one crew member to add FUEL ONLY with no other changes, adjustments, or work to be done on their respective cars. "Most of today's Dirt Late Model cars are equipped with smaller capacity fuel cells than cars of the past, and with the larger size (1/2 mile) of track at Rome, we felt that it would be in the best interest of competition to ensure that everyone was good to go the entire 100 green flag lap distance," stated Mike Vaughn, CEO/Founder of the Chevrolet Performance Super Late Model Series.
