Jefferson, GA (February 28, 2013) – Race season is officially in gear and Gresham Motorsports Park is ready to open the gates for the first GMP race, the Larry Fleeman Memorial 198, on March 30th. There so much fun and excitement planned for the entire family and a night full of competitive races!
GMP is excited to offer a great deal to all teachers and
students for the Larry Fleeman Memorial 198- a $15 ticket (must show school id
when purchasing ticket).
Friday Night, March 29th, will be an open
practice from 3pm to 7pm for all divisions racing. Fans can watch from the grandstands and trackside parking
for FREE!
On Saturday morning, March 31, the gates will open at 11 am
for trackside parking and grandstands.
The grandstand concession stand will open at 1pm.
The excitement of another race before Easter led GMP to hold
the 3rd Annual- GMP Helicopter Easter Egg drop for the kids! The Easter Egg Drop will begin at 4:15
pm – don’t be late or you could miss all of the excitement, candy and prizes!
An Easter Egg drop would not be complete without the Easter
Bunny, who will be at the Larry Fleeman Memorial 198. And if the Easter Bunny isn’t enough, Andy the Armadillo
from Texas Roadhouse will also be making an appearance!
After the Helicopter Easter Egg drop, Opening Ceremonies
begin at 5pm and will lead into an action-packed night of racing! With Pro Late Models, Outlaw Late
Models, Trucks, Sportsman, Renegades and Mini Stocks, this is bound to be one
of the most exciting race events of the season!
GMP will be giving away prizes throughout the night and
those in attendance could win a $50 WalMart Gift Card, a Texas Roadhouse Gift
Certificate, GMP souvenirs and more!
In addition to GMP prizes, Kipper Tool is back again for the
2013 race season with two great opportunities for fans! Fans will be able to purchase raffle
tickets to win great prizes!
Tickets are $5 for one and $20 for five and proceeds benefit Homes for
Our Troops and the Fisher House Foundation. There will be drawings at each race from tickets purchased
at that race and the grand-drawing will be held on August 10th and
winners do not have to be present to receive prizes!
Kipper Tool will also provide the opportunity for active and
retired Military and their families to attend the Slack Auto Parts World Crown
300 for FREE! Offer last while
tickets are available and military must present a military id when purchasing
tickets.
Tickets for the Larry Fleeman Memorial 198 will be $25 for
Adults, $20 for Military and Seniors, $15 for students and school employees,
and FREE for children 12 and under.
