Dalton Cook

EAMS Late Model (25 Laps):
1 - #1D Dalton D Cook - qualified on the pole and led every lap in dominating fashion to pick up his first ever win anywhere - CONGRATULATIONS!!
2 - #27 Larry Harrod - great run in his first appearance this season in a points race at EAMS - had to defend his position from constant challenges from #110 Rick Culpepper.
3 - #110 Rick Culpepper - worked all 25 laps to try to get 2nd from Harrod, running alongside him off the corner on several occasions. Moves up to 2nd in points
4 - #K9 Dana Eiland (Mike Harris) - an off night for the "Master of Going Faster".
5 - #54 Tim Dixon - is running more competitively than ever, challenging Eiland all race long.

Brian Hansford

602 Late Model Sportsman (15 Laps):
(Editorial comment - this was BY FAR the best race I've witnessed at EAMS this season - cars ran every inch of the track from top to bottom and were 3-4 wide on several occasions - congratulations to all drivers!!)
1 - #R66 Brian Hansford - pretty much owns EAMS picking up his 3rd win in 3 tries by patiently working the bottom to move up from his 7th starting spot.
2 - #111 Jackson Thomason - 3rd consecutive top 2 finish - recovered from a late penalty for jumping a restart - ran out of laps.
3 - #16 Jay Elliott - had no idea he was racing tonight, but made the best of the opportunity to get in this car - won his heat race and lead the feature early.
4 - #6 Donovan Singer - great job moving up from a 9th place start.
5 - #17M Brandon McDaniel - good work in a rare EAMS appearance.
John Michael Schmear

Hobby (15 Laps):
1 - #294 John Michael - closes to within 1 point of the points lead with his 2nd win in 3 weeks.
2 - #30 Tim Bosley - 2nd in the last two races after totaling his car in spectacular fashion the week before - now driving as a teammate to John Michael.
3 - #29 Will Gordon - best run by far since moving up to Hobby.
4 - #98 Travis Timms - great recovery after problems in his heat race.
5 - #R68 Chuck Coggins - struggles to hold on to his points lead by 1 point.
Grady Holmes

NESMITH Street Stock (15 Laps):
1 - #71 Grady Holmes - won a great battle in the early laps to take the lead and then pull away for the victory.
2 - #25 Herbie Donath - led early and fought tenaciously to hold that lead, but finally had to relent to Holmes' challenges.
3 - #24 Allen McConnell - maintains a sizeable points lead over Donath.
4 - #17 Paul Popwell - struggled with handling all night long.
Brian Robinson

Road Warrior (15 Laps):
1 - #17 Brian Robinson - picks up his first win ever anywhere - CONGRATULATIONS!!
2 - #51 Daniel Britton - survived.
3 - #101 Brooks Shelley - ran 2nd in a challenging position until mechanical problems late in the race.
4 - #97 Robbie McDonald - dropped out early in his first appearance at EAMS.
Jason Newsome

Hot Shots (10 Laps):
1 - #24 Jason Newsome - kept it in the family - his Father #42 David Newsome won last week, and Jason won the 2 weeks prior - stretches his points lead.
2 - #21 Tater Holmes - in a substitute role for Christopher Bosley, started in the rear and came to the front.
3 - #J38 Jayce Swint - ties his previous best finish - two weeks in a row.
4 - #1 Bryan Britton - started 3rd, finished 4th.
5 - #96 Scott Marshall - good run to his first top 5 finish.

Next race at EAMS is next Saturday, 5/6/2017 - make your plans now to be there. Lamar McClellan.
