Wild Night At Waycross

   
   Waycross Motor Speedway saw it's fair share of excitement last night with wild wrecks and even wilder finishes. The NLMSS was in full swing with a total of 23 cars showing up for the night. Brandon Dewitt, of Barney, Ga. had the fastest time in qualifying with a 16.676 seconds edging out the second fastest qualifier of Donnie Chappell who had a time of 17.353 seconds.



 When the feature began Dewitt took off to an early lead. Turn four seemed to be a hindrance for some drivers with Chuck Chitty, Casey Barrow, and Cale Simons all spinning in the turn to bring out separate cautions. The second place spot was a hard fought battle at one point between #25, Donnie Chappell, and #21 of Ivedent Lloyd and seeing Lloyd overtaking the spot. At one point Dewitt had a strong lead of 3.504 seconds but seemed to have put a lot of wear on his tires trying to pass lap traffic giving Ivedent Lloyd the opportunity to battle for the lead but Dewitt held him of to win the 50 lap feature and take home the $3,000 check.
