“Rumble on the Gumbo” Nationals at Greenville Speedway July 15th and 16th



Cartersville, GA - The NeSmith Dirt Late Model Series Touring Division will make its return to the Wesley Washington and James Clolinger promoted Greenville Speedway in Greenville, Mississippi this Friday and Saturday nights July 15th and 16th for the "Rumble on the Gumbo". The weekend will see a complete show for the NeSmith Dirt Late Model Series cars on both Friday and Saturday night.
Friday night's program will feature a 40 lap, $2,000 to win main event, and Saturday will see another full program featuring a 50 lap, $2,500 to win main event.

The "Rumble on the Gumbo" races will mark the return of the series back to the gumbo clay surfaced facility for the first time since August of the 2014 season when defending National Champion Ronnie Johnson of Chattanooga, TN picked up the win.
Friday July 15th will see the Pit Gates open at 4 P.M, and Grand Stand admission gates will open at 5; Racing will get started at 7:30.
Saturday July 16th Pit Gates will open at 3 PM, Grand Stand admission gates at 5, and Racing will start at 7 P.M.
You will not want to miss any of the action at one of the raciest tracks in the South!! So make your plans to join us on both Friday and Saturday night!
The race weekend is also part of the "United Way Race for the Goal" Weekend where proceeds from an auction will go to support the United Way. Several items will be up for auction including a ride in a two-seater late model and pit passes to the Gumbo Nationals later in the season. So come out to support your local short track and help them support the United Way!
