East Alabama Motor Speedway Feature Top Fives With Commentary & Victory Lane Photos 8/6/2016

(*** THESE RESULTS ARE UNOFFICIAL PENDING TIRE SAMPLE RESULTS ***)
1 - #92 Joseph Brown - qualified on the pole and lead all the laps but the 1st one (#4 Dusty Jones) to add his win total to 4, 3 in a row for the last 3 trips to EAMS. This car and driver are dominant!!
2 - #K9 Dana Eiland - his 3rd top 2 finish of the year moves him into the points lead after previous points leader #110 Rick Culpepper got caught up in a chain reaction wreck on a restart that sent him to a 13th place finish.
3 - #00 Jay Elliott - his 4th top 3 finish of this season leaves him in 3rd in points, but only 2 points out of 2nd now.
4 - #34 Terrance Nowell - in only his 3rd points race of the season picks up his 2nd 4th place finish driving Chad Wallace's car.
5 - #99 Rucker Orr - good job getting a top 5 in his only appearance at a points race at EAMS this year.

Limited Late Model
1 - #90 Josh Weathers picked up his first ever win at EAMS, taking over after #17 Kevin Bennettt dominated and then fell out late with a broken power steering belt.
2 - #5 Rodgerick Dykes - in his first race in a points event at EAMS this year - nice work!
3 - #10 Andrew Bailey - after a win and 2nd place finish earlier in the year, this w.as a hard fought 3rd place finish.
4 - #19 Josh Cox - coming up through the pack, a great finish.
5 - #97 Bryson Ussery - ties his best finish of the season.


Corey Dunn

Hobby
1 - #44 Corey Dunn - picks up his 3rd win of the season in dominating fashion.
2 - #17 Jason Price - coming from the back he patiently worked his way to the front - just ran out of laps.
3 - #R68 Chuck Coggins - ran 2nd most of the race, giving way to a hard charging Price late in the going - his 4th top 3 finish of the season.
4 - #99 Chance Renfroe - nice job to get his 2nd top 5 finish of the season, the first in this car. Had to come from the back in his heat.
5 - #31 Richie Grantham - a consistent run to record his 5th top 5 of the season.

1 - #69 Richie Rocketman Stephens - in 5 races at EAMS this year, he has now recorded 5 wins - 4 in NeSmith SS and 1 in EAMS Late Model. This man is hard to beat at this track.
2 - #69 Jason Harrison (Sandra Cockrill Harrison) - by recording his 5th top 2 finish, he closes to within 5 points of leader Derick Schrecengost.
3 - #7 Chris Arnett - in only 3 runs at EAMS he now has a 6th and 2 third place finishes. Nice work!
4 - #36 V.j. McDonald - good solid work tonight.
5 - #21 Derick Schrecengost - holds on to his points lead by posting his 12th top 5 finish in 12 races - that's a great record!!

Hunter Cossette

Road Warriors
1 - #93C Hunter Cossette - 2nd win in 3 tries - I know these guys hate to see this car pulling into the pits on race day.....
2 - #999 Chandler Diem - only moved into the runner up position late in the race after a great battle with Brian Bo Robinson - his 13th top 3 finish in 13 races - remarkable!!
3 - #17 Brian Bo Robinson - equals his best finish of the season - for the 6th time!!!
4 - #18 Tyler Walters - 3rd top 5 in 3 tries.
5 - #99 Samuel Brooks Shelley - maintains his points position of 3rd with another consistent top 5 finish.

Lee Hutchinson

Hot Shots
1 - #28 Lee Hutchinson - his 2nd win in a row - they are starting to look unbeatable!!
2 - #95 Robert Messer Jr - picks up his second 2nd place finish with a great run - sort of "first in class".....
3 - #10G Rodney Gorman - his 9th top 3 finish - so consistent!!
4 - #87 Brad Kirk - his first top 5 - making progress.
5 - #42 Jason Newsome - 5th top 5 in 7 tries - very consistent.
